BA (Hons) in Film and Performing Arts Practices (3 Years)

A 3-year degree programme, with an optional  4-week film project in either Mexico or Dubai each year.

The Raindance Film School’s BA (Hons) in Film and Performing Arts Practices is a three-year practical course accredited by Pearson and De Montfort University. Designed for aspiring and experienced practitioners, the program allows students to elevate their academic or professional experience in producing, directing, screenwriting, or acting to a BA level. 

Students will complete a Level 5 Higher National Diploma (HND) in the first two years (validated by Pearson) followed by our Top-Up BA (Hons) degree validated by De Montfort University.  A standout feature is the opportunity to undertake a four-week film project at our campuses in Mexico, or Dubai each year. 

This course is eligible for Student Finance.

Application and Entry Requirements

Students under 21 years should ideally have GCSE English at grade A*-C (grade 9 – 4) and a full Level 3 qualification such as BTEC, A Level or an Access to HE Course. If you have industry experience, we can consider your application on a case-by-case basis.

Students over 21 can apply as mature students providing they can demonstrate the ability (and experience) to study at the appropriate level. Employment history will be advantageous and qualifications taken several years ago will also be taken into account.
